September 30, 2010 - General Interest Meeting Rescheduled YET AGAIN
This is just getting ridiculous! But we sincerely know that this will be the last time we reschedule the meeting. Our sincerest apologies to those who came to the meeting a week ago; we unfortunately had no way of notifying almost anybody of its cancellation.
But seriously, (we promise this time!) the meeting is now to be held in Derring 1090, Tuesday, October 5th at 6pm (Derring is the building next to CHEMP that houses all the Biology labs). And remember, oodles of pizza and drinks, an a bunch of free IAESTE stuff to those who attend to show our appreciation for bearing with us.

September 14, 2010 - Program Restructuring in United States
This was publicized to the officers a couple of weeks ago. Quite simply, the organization that manages the IAESTE program in the United States (AIPT) has decided to gradually let go of the IAESTE program. For the full press release, read here: IAESTE United States 2010-2011 Program Change
Now while many parts of the letter state a general increase in fees while decreasing the services provided, this should not worry anyone. We have been discussing the matter with the rest of the East Region and have decided to make moves for the immediate transfer of any willing Local Committees to go under a seperate, student-run section of IAESTE United States. This would greatly alleviate any membership, application, or program participation fees.
